We try very hard to keep parents regularly informed about what is going on at the school and we are always looking for ways to maximise communication. We are also increasingly aware of the substantial cost and environmental impact associated with the amount of paper and photocopying involved when we send out letters. To help improve these areas we are using a service called Parentmail. which is used by over 2,500 schools across the UK to communicate with parents by e-mail and text. Parentmail will be beneficial to you because:-
- Letters/information will get to you more reliably
- We can send letters/information directly to both parents at the same time
- Communication regarding any school closure is instantaneous
Please be assured that Parentmail is registered with the Data Protection Registrar and guarantees that all information you provide will be kept private and will not be passed on to any other organisation.
We expect all parents to register for Parentmail to ensure smooth communications home and to enable us to contact parents with urgent communication such as if the school has to close for any reason (e.g. severe snowfall). Please speak to the office staff about registering if you have not already done so.
