Computing plays a vital role in preparing children for a rapidly changing world. We want our pupils to become confident, responsible, and creative users of technology.

We follow the Purple Mash scheme, which helps children develop skills in:

  • Coding and programming
  • Digital literacy
  • Online safety
  • Using software and applications
  • Understanding how technology works

Online safety is a priority. Children learn how to stay safe online through lessons, assemblies, and our annual Safer Internet Day.

Computing is also woven through other subjects, giving children meaningful opportunities to apply their skills across the curriculum.
